The article "Manager roles and permissions" explains the three different default manager roles. But what if you prefer to custom the manager roles with specific permissions? vaibe also has a solution for this! The custom roles are 100% customizable by you. In this article we will show how you can create a custom role.
Step 1: Click on the "Settings" section on the main menu and go to the tab "Role levels & Permissions".
Step 2: Click on the plus (+) icon, on the upper right corner. Select "Add role level" from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: A pop-up window appears with all permissions given by default. Here, you need to fill out a "Name" (mandatory) for the custom role, you can fill the "Description" (optional) and you can choose which "Permissions" you want to give to the custom role you are creating. The permissions are grouped by section.
If you click on the arrow of each section, it shows you the detailed permissions with regards to each section. For example, if you click on the "Challenges", 7 possible permissions appear:
Select the "Permissions" you want to give the custom role for each section. Then, click on "Save role level". The custom role created should appear now in the list of roles from your organization.
If you want to delete or duplicate existing roles, click on the right side of the role in the "trash" icon to delete the custom role and on the "duplication" icon to duplicate the role.
