As a manager, you are able to create new sites, change existing ones and manage which users are assigned to each site. In this article, we will explain how to change the site that you're assigned to (scenario 1) and how to change the site another user is assigned to (scenario 2). Please note that each site has a time zone associated and the application will take in consideration the time zone of the site each user is assigned to.
Scenario 1: Change the site you are assigned to
To change the site you're assigned to, go through the following steps:
Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, select your user (last option). It will open a page with your Profile.
Step 2: Click on the "Edit" button (pencil) on the upper right corner.
Step 3: On the "Site" field, select the site you are assigned. If your site is not created, you can create it by clicking on the "+ New site" link.
Step 4: Click on the "Save changes" button. Your site will be changed and the time zone of your application adjusted accordingly.
Scenario 2: Change the site a user is assigned to
To change the site a user is assigned to, go through the following steps:
Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, select "Users". It will open a page with all users (Employees) of the organization.
Step 2: Select the user you want to make changes. A new page will appear with all the information regarding that user.
Step 3: Click on the "Edit" button on the upper right corner (pencil).
Step 4: On the "Site" field, select the site the user is assigned. If the site is not created, you can create it by clicking on the "+ New site" link.
Step 5: Click on the "Save changes" button. Your site will be changed and the time zone of your application adjusted accordingly.
You can change the site of multiple users at once. To do this, go to the users list, select the users you want to update, click the "Actions" button, and choose "Change Site". Then, select the new site and click "Save Changes" to apply the update.
