Units of measure are essential for the metrics definition, as they directly impact how your team's performance is measured.
At vaibe you have the possibility to create as many units of measure as you wish to make challenges that impact your team and are aligned with the team's job. You can also link multiple units to the same metric to get a more complete picture of performance.
Besides that, units of measure can be customized. When you create a new unit of measure you can name it using the same terms and language your team uses daily, making it easier for everyone to relate to and understand the goals.
The following steps show you how you can create, add and delete units of measure.
Step 1: If you go to the metrics section, a new window appears.
Step 2: Click on the "Units of measure" column. There are 5 default units of measure: cube, duration (in minutes), kilograms, percentage and unit.
Step 3: To add a new unit of measure, click on the plus ("+") button and select "Add unit of measure".
Step 4: A new window will appear, where you need to enter the name of the new unit of measure and you can add a symbol. After filling this, click on "Create Unit of Measure" to create it. The new unit of measure should now appear in the "units of measure" section.
Step 5: To edit an existing unit of measure, click on the pencil symbol, on the right side. A new window where you can edit the name and symbol appears. Do the changes you want and click on "Save changes" to save the editing.
Step 6: If you wish to delete an existing unit of measure, click on the trash icon, on the right side of the unit of measure. A new window appears. Click "Delete unit" if you wish to delete the unit of measure.
Notes:
The units of measure that are set by default (cube, duration (in minutes), kilograms, percentage and unit) can't be edited or deleted.
The custom units of measure created by the mangers can't be deleted as soon as they are used in a challenge.
